Colleen O’Connor began her ministry with the people of St. Mark’s in November 2005.  Prior to her arrival in LeRoy, she had served as the Priest-in-Charge at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Watertown, Wisconsin.

A graduate of the Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Colleen worked for a number of years as a theological librarian in various seminary libraries including The United Library for Garrett Evangelical Theological School and Seabury Western Theological School in Evanston, Illinois, and as the library director at St. Francis Seminary in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  As the librarian, she also served as the faculty advisor for students studying for the priesthood.  She was ordained to the priesthood in 2002.

Colleen enjoys weaving, spinning and all things fiber.  She is also an avid reader.  She can be spotted at local antique auctions bidding on the furniture in desperate need of repair.  Colleen and her husband, Chris, are in the midst of renovating one of the early 19th century homes in the area.

Colleen and Chris have five children, Brendan, Caitlin, Rory, Erin, and Fiona.
